Paleo Cilantro Smoothie, A Breakfast Smoothie

This Paleo Cilantro Smoothie is made with fresh cilantro, mango, guava, lime juice and honey and is perfect for days when you’re strapped for time. Cilantro is an anti-inflammatory, reduces bad cholesterol, has disinfecting properties, and can help reduce nausea, amongst other great health benefits! We love this versatile drink, as it can also be used as a mixer for dinner party cocktails!

Funny how life is…you work and struggle and stay the coarse and then, just when you start to think of settling, life throws you a bone. Or two. Angel’s other app, ROSTR, just got funded! I truly can’t believe it! He worked all year and no movement, then something great happens…twice! We’re waiting on Aurora to see how that pans out, but either way, good things! I’m just so happy and proud of him! I’m also hoping this is a chance for us to start working together. So exciting!

Recipe: Paleo Cilantro Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh Cilantro
  • 1 Mango
  • 2 Yellow Guavas (sans seeds)
  • Juice of ½ Lime
  • ½ cup Pineapple Juice
  • 1 Tbsp raw Honey
  • Optional: ¼ cup Water

Instructions

  1. Combine the cilantro, peeled mango and guava, lime and pineapple juices, honey and water in a food processor or blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
  2. We like to use ice or the water when we want a smoothie, and leave it out when we just want to mix it with gin or vodka. Yeah, alcohol is bad, but we still like a drink every now and again! Curious about how that works? Check out our Paleo Alcohol Guide for more details!
