Well, that was a little more of an extended vacation than we intended, but every now and again, you just have to take a break and relax! Now its time to get the tree up and start on Christmas! I really love this time of year, back to back holidays, food galore and spending time with family. We’re on day 2 of our Christmas music… bought the tree and are waiting for it to come down enough to decorate. Love it!
This recipe is traditional, but so useful when you need to eat light after the holidays. Now that we’re done with the leftovers, we thought we’d start off with some tasty greens. This salad is fruity, but the sesame balances it out nicely. If you really want a treat, try our Sesame Roasted Duck and use the leftovers to top our Pomegranate Apple Salad that goes so nicely with this dressing.
Recipe: Paleo Sesame Ginger Salad Dressing
- 1 ½ Tbsp Sesame Oil
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp Ginger (fresh)
- 1 Tbsp Coconut Aminos
- 1 ½ Tbsp Honey
- ¼ cup Olive Oil
- 1 Garlic Clove
- Combine all ingredients in a blender (or Bullet!) and blend until smooth and incorporated.
