Paleo Banana Smoothie, A Breakfast on the Go

This Paleo Banana Smoothie is easy to make and perfect on the go. It’s one of our go-to recipes to do when we have bananas that are going bad. We seemingly always have a couple that nobody really wants to eat, so yeah, you gotta have a few banana recipes. This recipe is great because you can actually cut and freeze them early and then make this quick when you are on the go!

We had such a good time visiting with my family this past week, that we completely forgot to post any recipes! I know!!! So to make up for it, I’m going to try to post extra recipes to cover my slacker self. This is the second one today! Woot!

Paleo Banana Smoothie

½ cup Coconut Water

½ cup Orange Juice

1 Banana

1 Egg

1 Tbsp Maple Syrup

3 Ice Cubes

Peel and slice the banana. I like to spread the slices out on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and then freeze it, but you could throw it in a ziplock bag or container and freeze the banana slices any way you want really.

Once frozen, combine the banana slices, coconut water, orange juice, egg, maple syrup, and ice cubes in a blender and liquefy! Enjoy!
