Paleo House Salad, A Side or Entrée

This Paleo House Salad recipe is a quick-fix appetizer or side for any type for almost any cuisine. It really only takes minutes to make this salad and depending on the dressing you use, it can go with a lot of different flavors. Its great for those days when you just don’t have a lot of time to put something together, but don’t want to forgo the greens.. And everyone should have a simple house salad recipe, something no-frills. There’s nothing tastier or easier than a simple fresh salad with a delicious home-made salad dressing to get your taste buds going!

Think of these easy-easy recipes not so much as instructional recipes, but reminders of what you can use to pair with food. Sometimes, I think that one of the main problems that people have with homemade cooking is not so much the effort, but the idea. So I’ll throw out some of the simple little gems, just in case you’re having a creative block in the kitchen.

Paleo House Salad

1 Hothouse Cucumber

½ head Iceberg Lettuce

1 grated Carrot

Optional: Tomato slices, White Button Mushrooms, or Red Onion

½ cup Paleo Japanese Ginger Dressing

Cut all vegetables, toss with our Paleo Japanese Ginger Dressing and serve!

This recipe is Vegan!

This salad is also great with our Paleo French Salad Dressing, or Paleo Honey Mustard Salad Dressing and serve. Don’t forget our Paleo Croutons!
