Paleo Jalapeño Salsa, A Spicy Side for Tacos

Taco Tuesday wouldn’t be the same without our Paleo Jalapeño Salsa! It is pretty spicy…and that’s the point, so if you don’t like spicy, I would just find another salsa recipe. We have plenty! But if you do like spicy, this recipe will not disappoint! If you happen to have any bird’s eye chili peppers, I would throw one or two of them in there, minced, to REALLY give it a kick. I mean a KICK!

I’m excited today because we are going to go to Tampa to go to a concert that I bought tickets for Angel’s birthday. It’s Jack’s Mannequin and Guster together at a small venue in Ybor City, so it should be really cool, as I have not seen either of them live. I really enjoy going to concerts and events with Angel. He never gets out of control, but we always have fun. Just the right amount of awesomeness.

Paleo Jalapeño Salsa

6 Jalapeño Peppers

2 Tbsp Coconut Vinegar

2 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

6 Garlic cloves

1 White Onion

¼ cup Lime Juice

½ tsp Coarse Sea Salt

I like to roughly chop all of my ingredients, then add them to a food processor and give it a little pulse…that way, I have some bigger chunks and some smaller, juicier chunks. Mostly just even, small pieces.

This recipe is Vegan!

Makes about 1 ½ cup

Try it with our Paleo Taco Salad and follow it up with our Paleo Vanilla Flan!
