There are some things that I think are hard to give up. For some reason, I like to dip my raw veggies in something. Since we’ve gone on this diet, I usually use almond butter or nothing, but one day I went to a party and I really wanted the ranch salad dressing that they had on the table. So I made some.
Angel tried it with our Loaded Sweet Potato Fries and thought it was perfect! So in honor of the weekend and in attempts to curb any of your late night cravings, make a little of this in advance, just in case you feel like snacking ;)
Paleo Ranch Salad Dressing
¼ cup Paleo Mayo (Grapeseed or Safflower work pretty well if you don’t want to make it)
¼ cup Coconut Milk
½ tsp Dill
½ tsp Garlic Powder
¼ tsp Onion Powder
¼ tsp Chives
1 Tbsp Lemon Juice
Optional * ½ tsp Parsley
Optional * ½ tsp Thyme (I say, try it without and if you think it needs a little more zing, then add these 2 optional spices ;)
Sea Salt and Pepper (to Taste)
Mix all until incorporated. I like to use a Bullet, but that’s just me…(if you buy it, you’ll love it, i promise!!)
**Note: all of the spices that I used were dried. You can use fresh if you like, but I thought you’d like to know that it will still turn out if you use dried herbs.
Instead of eating with our fries, serve this Paleo Ranch Salad Dressing with our Paleo Cobb Salad, Shrimp and Bacon Salad, or Cucumber Salad for an alternative to our other wonderful Salad Dressings!
