Paleo Remoulade Sauce, A Condiment for Seafood

For the first time in a long time, I feel really excited about exercise. We just started Crossfit and it really is invigorating. I actually can’t wait to go back! Very sore. Very tired muscles. But awesome. I also like that they switch up the routines, it really keeps you guessing about what you’ll do next. I urge you all to look into it. Its intense, but great.

I make this sauce usually after I make our Bang Bang Shrimp or other recipe that uses our Sweet Chili Sauce. That way, I don’t have to make it from scratch the day I want to eat Crab Cakes. This sauce is really nice on any seafood – it has a smoky, but sweet flavor with a little zing at the end. I always like when my taste buds are surprised!

Remoulade Sauce

¼ cup Paleo Mayo

1 Tbsp Sweet Chili Sauce

1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard

½ tsp Sea Salt

¼ tsp Old Bay or Creole Seasoning

*Optional: pinch Saffron (we do this, yum!)

Mix all ingredients together.

Serve alongside our Crab Cakes or Fried Green Tomatoes!!
