Paleo Sweet Chipotle BBQ Sauce, A Perfect Condiment for Pulled Pork

I am really getting excited about going home for Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday. When I was a kid, I used to wake up early with my mother and cook all day long, watching the parades. I just loved it. I love it now. When we’re not in the same place, we put on the parades and talk on speakerphone while we cook our separate meals. Its something I really love and its something I hope to do with my own kids someday. It’s amazing to me how much I really cherish about my upbringing. I love traditions. I’ll have to remind myself to talk about Angel’s first pumpkin carving adventure this year with me…and pics to come on Facebook too! Love it!

I know what you’re thinking. Wow. More barbeque sauces. Geez, these people are crazy about barbeque. I guess it’s a big Southern thing, but neither of us was raised in the South, so I’m not sure we can lean on that. I think that BBQ, for us, is an easy way to jazz up protein when we’re not feeling like cooking an entire meal. I can say that I made this one specifically for our Pulled Pork, although it would taste great on any type of meat. Enjoy.

Sweet Chipotle BBQ Sauce

1 ½ Tbsp Balsamic Glaze

1 tsp ground Chipotle Pepper

2 Tbsp Ketchup

¼ cup Olive Oil

1 Tbsp Coconut Vinegar

¼ tsp Chili Powder

¼ tsp ground Cayenne Pepper

Combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. We like to use the Bullet!

Serve over our delicious, fall off the bone Pulled Pork!
